Channon Goodwin is a Brisbane-based artist who works predominantly in the medium of digital video. With a process-based practice that privileges all stages of art making, from conception to production, Channon searches for the creative potential inherent in everyday diversionary activities and procrastination to recast frivolous pursuits as modes of art practice. Channon completed his Bachelor of Visual arts (Fine Art) with Honours from Queensland University of Technology in 2006and has exhibited nationally in solo and group exhibitions, and is a founding member of Boxcopy, an artist-run initiative based in Brisbane.
